Mount Elgon in Uganda
This extinct volcanic mountain once towered above Kilimanjaro’s 5891m elevation. Now reduced to 4321m,Mount Elgon’s vast form still rises over 3000m above the plains of eastern Uganda.
Trails ascend through forest , bamboo and moorland to a giant caldera, 8km wide, on the summit. This serves many activities including. Hiking to the top, days hikes, visiting the falls, visiting the caves, lots of primates and Mammals.
This is another paradise of hikers its great even taking days taking you through caves, water falls and steep hills with beautiful scenery. its a worth experience while visiting the sipi falls.
